If you do not have any 32 bit applications installed on the system, then nothing happens when the Applications tab is tapped on.

A number of applications have already been pulled from the App Store, so there is no way to update it. This list is a little dynamic, as some titles may be removed from the list if the developer makes an update available. If you do not have any 32-bit apps installed, you will not be able to tap open the App Compatibility list to begin with. This will show a list of applications installed on the device, that will not work with iOS 11. In settings if you go to General > About > Applications, you will arrive at the "App Compatibility" section.

These applications have not been updated with 64 bit versions on the App Store. A longer list is available at TouchArcade. Some of the applications that will not work include Robot Unicorn Attack, Gravity Guy, Bejeweled 2, Forever Drive, NinJump Deluxe, Prince of Persia Retro, Galaxy on Fire II, Project 83113, Dark Nebula and Minigore. This is because 32 bit applications and games will not start up on iOS 11 as Apple moves to a 64 bit only store. Robot Unicorn Attack has not yet been updated with a 64 bit version.
